Create an API Key
Make a key for one integration, with only the scopes it needs, in test or live mode.

Go to ConsoleSettingsDevelopers and open API keys.
- Select New key and give it a Name that says what uses it, such as "HR sync (production)".
- Choose the Kind: Secret for your servers, or Publishable for web pages such as booking embeds.
- Choose the Mode: Test or Live.
- For a secret key, tick only the Scopes it needs, or use Read only. Choose when it Expires.
- Select Make key, then Copy key and store it somewhere safe. Tick I've stored the key somewhere safe and select Done.
Good to Know
- Test keys work on every plan. Live secret keys need Growth or above: on Growth they manage webhook endpoints and read events, and the full API comes with Pro.
- Everything a key does is shown in the audit trail beside its name.
- Make one key for each integration, so you can revoke it alone.
- The full API reference, quickstart and SDKs are on docs.agoohq.com.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A key may have leaked. Select Revoke beside it at once, then make a new one.
- The API refuses a request. The key may be missing a scope, have expired or be limited to certain addresses. Check it under Scopes in the list.
- You can't see Developers. Only Owners and Admins manage API keys.
