The wizard opens the first time an Owner or Admin signs in to a new organisation.

  1. Under Your organisation, fill in the Display name visitors will see, the Organisation type, the Country and the Time zone. Add a Legal name (optional) if it differs.

  2. Select Continue. Under Your first site, type the Site name and the Main gate or entrance, and choose whether that gate is For people, vehicles or both.

  3. Answer the Wi-Fi questions if they appear. Nothing is shared until you say yes.
  4. If you're asked Will you keep staff time in Agoo?, answer it. Choose Skip for now if you'd rather set up attendance later.
  5. Under Your brand, add your logo and colour, or leave them for later.
  6. Select Finish setup.

The last page, What's next, links to each next step: your site's map pin and opening hours, inviting your team, a visitor form template, notifications, a check-in poster, a kiosk and the Agoo Workspace app.

Good to Know

  • The organisation type picks sensible visitor types and wording for your kind of organisation, such as a church, school, hospital or estate. You can change all of it later.
  • You can change everything from the wizard later, in ConsoleSettings.
  • What you type is kept on your device as you go, so a power cut or a closed tab doesn't lose it.
  • On the Free plan, kiosks, passes and emails carry Agoo's branding. Your logo arrives with Starter.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • The wizard doesn't open. Only Owners and Admins see it. Ask your Owner to finish it, or to change your role.
  • You closed the wizard before the end. Open the bell at the top of the page and select Finish setting up your organisation to carry on where you stopped.
  • The staff time step is missing. It shows only when attendance is available to your organisation. Set it up later in ConsoleAttendanceSettings.
