Get Ready for Your First Real Visitors

Work through these in order with the people who run your front desk and security. Most take a few minutes.

   In ConsoleSettingsOrganisation, check the Display name visitors see, and add your Data Protection Commission number if you have one.

   In ConsoleSettingsSites, open each site and check its map pin, gates, Opening hours and Check-in rules.

   In ConsoleSettingsBranding, check your logo and the kiosk welcome on a real screen.

   In ConsoleSettingsVisitor forms, turn off the visitor types you don't use and ask only what you need.

   In ConsoleSettingsDocuments, publish your privacy notice.

   In ConsoleSettingsNotifications, set the order Agoo tries and your quiet hours.

   In ConsolePeopleDirectory, check every host is at the right site, with a mobile number, and has accepted their invitation.

   In ConsoleDevices, check every kiosk is paired to the right site and gate and shows as online.

   Run the tests: invite a colleague and check them in with their pass, check in a walk-in, turn the kiosk's Wi-Fi off and check someone in, then start and close a practice roll call.

Good to Know

• Ask hosts, the front desk and guards to install Agoo Workspace and allow notifications, so arrival alerts reach them at once.
• When you turn the Wi-Fi back on after the offline test, the visits appear in ConsoleVisitors with their real check-in times.
• Brief each group before launch day: receptionists on checking people in by hand, guards on guard mode, hosts on approving arrivals.
• Put a notice at reception telling visitors how to check in.

If Something Goes Wrong

• A host shows as invited, not active. They haven't opened their invitation yet. Send it again from their page in ConsolePeopleDirectory.
• A kiosk shows as offline. Check its Wi-Fi and charger, then open the Kiosk app. It catches up as soon as it's back online.
• The test host never got the alert. Check their own choices in Notifications in their account menu, and that they allowed notifications for Agoo Workspace.
