- Check it's really them: in person, on a video call where you can see them, or by calling a number you already had for them.
Go to ConsoleSettingsSecurity and find Lost authenticators and account recovery.
- Select Approve beside their request, say how you checked, and select Approve the reset.
- Or select Decline, with a reason they'll read.
They can finish the reset as soon as you approve.
Good to Know
- Never approve because of an email or message alone, however urgent. Whoever asked knows their password.
- You can approve a reset only for someone no more senior than you.
- To leave every reset to Agoo, turn off Owners and Admins can approve a colleague's reset. Agoo then checks identity itself, with a 24-hour wait.
- Every step is in your audit trail, under account recovery.
If Something Goes Wrong
- You can't approve someone. They're more senior than you, such as the Owner. Agoo checks their identity instead.
- The request has gone from the list. They withdrew it, finished it, or it ran out. They can ask again from the sign-in page.
