Check If a Number Is Real
Before you pay or call, check at agoo.reviews/check whether a phone number or MoMo merchant name is a business's verified official one.

- 1 min read
- Go to agoo.reviews/check.
- Type the phone number, written any usual way, or the MoMo merchant name you've been asked to pay.
- Select Check.
Good to Know
- In the Agoo Reviews app: Discover › Is This the Real Number?, or You › Is this the real number?.
- Verified: the number or name is an official contact of the business shown, which proved it to Agoo. Open its page to see its other verified contacts.
- Not verified: Agoo has no verified record of it. That doesn't mean it's a scam, only that nobody has proved it here. Be careful: pay or call only once you're sure.
- Agoo never keeps what you typed, and you don't need an account.
- A business's verified numbers and names are also shown on its page on Agoo Reviews.
If Something Goes Wrong
- "That's a lot of checks in an hour." Try again a little later.
- "Type the whole number." Include every digit, such as 024 123 4567.
- Someone used a business's name to ask you for money. Don't pay. Tell the business on its verified number, and report it to the police or the Cyber Security Authority. On Agoo Reviews, select Report on the business's page.
