Choose What People Can Change About Themselves

Decide which details staff can edit on their own profile, such as their photo, name or mobile number.

  1. Go to ConsoleSettingsOrganisation and find What people can change about themselves.

  2. Tick each detail people may change: Photo, Full name, Name they go by, Pronouns, Mobile number, Job title or Department.

  3. Select Save.

Good to Know

  • People change these on their own profile, from the menu under their name.
  • Owners, Admins and Site admins can always change anyone's details in ConsolePeopleDirectory.
  • The mobile number is where a person's SMS and WhatsApp alerts go, so letting people keep it current helps alerts reach them.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • The boxes are greyed out. Only Owners and Admins can change this.
  • Someone still can't change a detail. Check it's ticked here and saved, then ask them to reload their profile.
