- Find your business on agoo.reviews and open its page.
- Under Is this your business?, select Claim this page, free.
- Sign in with a code to your phone or email, or another way the page offers.
- Give Your full name and Your role at the business.
Under How will you show it's yours?, choose a way: A code to my email at the business's website, A code by text to the phone on the page, A registration document, A code to a number on the business's website, Its MoMo merchant name, or I'm the Owner of its Agoo organisation.
For a number on the website, type the mobile number as it's written there. For MoMo, choose the network and give the Merchant number or ID and the Merchant name exactly as a payer sees it.
- Select the button for your way, such as Send me a code or Continue to the document, and finish the step it opens.
A person at Agoo may check the claim before the page is yours, usually within 2 working days. You'll find the page under Your Pages at agoo.reviews/business.
Good to Know
- In the Agoo Reviews app: open the page, select Claim this page, free and follow the same steps. The code, the document or the MoMo merchant name is sent from the app.
- Claiming is free for every business and changes nothing about the reviews or the score.
- A code to your website's email or a registration document earns Verified business on your page. With a certificate, add its Registration number from the Registrar-General (ORC), such as CS123456789, so the moderator can match it.
- No work email? If your mobile number is written on your business's own website, choose A code to a number on the business's website: Agoo looks for it on the site's home, contact and about pages, then texts it a code. Or give your MoMo merchant name, and a person at Agoo checks it.
- When approved, the website's number or the MoMo merchant name shows on your page as a verified official contact. See Verify Your Official Numbers.
- While you wait, gather your recent customers' email addresses or mobile numbers: your poster, invitations and a checklist are in the business area the moment the page is yours.
- Free email addresses, such as Gmail, can't prove a website, and a code never goes to a phone number you added to the page yourself.
- If your organisation uses Agoo, its Owner can claim it here with I'm the Owner of its Agoo organisation, signed in with the same account.
- In the Agoo Reviews app, Claim this page, free on a page opens agoo.reviews to finish.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A way is marked "Not open for this page." The page has no website or phone, or they can't prove ownership. Choose another way, such as a registration document.
- Your claim is refused. Your claim on agoo.reviews/business shows why. Select Ask us to look again within 30 days and a different moderator decides.
- Someone else has claimed it. Claim it anyway with your proof. A moderator decides between the claims.
- "We couldn't find that number on the website." It must be written on the business's own site, such as in its footer or on its contact page, and be a mobile number. Add it there and try again, or choose another way.
