Prepare Kiosks for Power Cuts
Keep kiosks charged, connected and locked down so check-in carries on through dumsor.

- Keep every kiosk on charge all day, so it starts a power cut with a full battery.
- Put your router, and any printer, on a UPS or inverter.
- Give kiosks a second connection, such as a tablet with a data SIM or a mobile Wi-Fi device.
After a cut, check battery and connection for each device in ConsoleDevices.
- Lock each kiosk to Agoo again if it restarted.
Good to Know
- A device shows as Offline in Devices when Agoo hasn't heard from it for 15 minutes.
- Devices lists each one's battery, whether it's on mains power, its connection and its last sync.
- An iPad managed with an MDM's Single App Mode comes back to Agoo by itself after a restart.
- Practise what offline looks like with new staff every few months.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A kiosk ran flat and restarted. Open Agoo Kiosk and start Guided Access or screen pinning again.
- The router is off but the kiosk has power. The kiosk keeps working offline and syncs once the network returns.
