Before You Start
You need a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox), a steady connection, and the computer's clock set to automatic. A webcam is optional, for photos and scanning passes.
In the Console, go to ConsoleDevicesPair a device and choose A computer's browser.
- Choose the site, entrance and mode (Kiosk mode or Clock-in only), name it, and select Create code.
- On the front-desk computer, open the kiosk address the Console shows. It ends in
/k. Copy the kiosk's address copies it for you. - Type the pairing code on that computer and select Pair this browser.
- Set the device PIN in Devices so staff can open the kiosk's staff menu.
- Select Full screen on the welcome screen, or start the browser in its kiosk mode, so only Agoo shows.
Good to Know
- A kiosk in a browser works online only. It keeps nothing to send later, so use the app where the network drops often.
- It has no guard mode, takes no staff badges or cards (staff clock in with their name and PIN) and doesn't read IDs itself.
- It takes one of your plan's kiosks and devices, like a tablet.
- Don't clear the browser's data: the kiosk's identity lives there.
- Owners and Admins can turn browser kiosks off with Allow kiosks in a browser in ConsoleSettingsSecurity.
If Something Goes Wrong
- The pairing screen comes back. The browser's data was cleared, another browser was opened, or the kiosk was unpaired. Make a new code and pair it again.
- "This kiosk isn't in use." Browser kiosks are switched off for your organisation. Turn them back on in Settings › Security.
- "This code isn't right." Use the newest code, made for A computer's browser, within its ten minutes.
- The camera doesn't start. Allow the camera for this site in the browser, and close any other program using the webcam.
