- Go to agoo.reviews/business and open your page.
- Select Official Numbers.
- Scroll to Fake Accounts Using Your Name to see the fakes Agoo has confirmed.
Good to Know
- In the Agoo Reviews app: Business › your page › Official Numbers, under Fake Accounts Using Your Name. The notification about a new fake opens it there.
- How fakes are confirmed. Someone who was scammed reports the number, account or website and says which business it pretended to be. A trained moderator at Agoo checks it before anything shows.
- Your page warns customers. Once one is confirmed, your page shows Beware of Fake Accounts: how many fakes Agoo has confirmed, and the phone, WhatsApp, social links and website your page shows. It never lists the fakes themselves, and it never changes your score.
- You're told. Head office gets an email, and everyone on your page's team gets a notification.
- Fakes show masked, like 024 *** 3456, here as everywhere nobody typed them. Anyone who looks a fake up at agoo.reviews/check sees a warning that it pretended to be you.
- Make your real contacts easy to trust: keep your page's phone, WhatsApp, social links and website up to date, and verify your official numbers so they show as verified.
- Free on every level.
If Something Goes Wrong
- You know of a fake that isn't listed. Ask the customer who was approached to report it at agoo.reviews/check, choosing They pretended to be a business, or report it yourself if you were approached.
- One of your own numbers shows as a fake. It can happen when a number changes hands. Ask us to look again from the warning at agoo.reviews/check, with proof the number is yours.
