Go to ConsoleAttendanceSettings.
- Under Working time, choose your Work days and when The day starts and ends.
- Under Breaks, choose the kind of day: one stretch with The paid break, or a day in two parts with The unpaid break.
- Set the break's length and the Hours of work before the break comes off, so a half day doesn't lose an hour.
- Choose the day the rules start, then select Save. If the section is already right, select Looks right instead.
Good to Know
- Until you save your own rules, Agoo uses Ghana's defaults: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with a paid 30-minute break.
- A paid break is never taken off worked time. An unpaid break comes off a finished day once it reaches the hours you set.
- Time someone spends clocked out for lunch was never counted, so nothing more comes off.
- A shift template can carry its own break, which it keeps whatever the standard day says.
- People with different hours, such as guards on long shifts, can follow a work-rule set.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Last month's hours changed after you saved. The new rules started on an earlier date. Each save is a new version, so check Versions of the rules and save again from the right day.
- You can't change the leave or timesheet parts. Only HR, Owners and Admins can change those rules.
- A day still shows its full hours. A day still running, or one missing a clock-out, keeps its paired time until it's finished.
