Switch On the Nursing Hour

Give a nursing mother her paid nursing break, from a date, for up to a year.

  1. Open her attendance from ConsoleAttendanceToday, or Their attendance on her page in People.

  2. Find Nursing hour and select Switch on.
  3. Choose the dates it runs, up to a year, and save.

To change it later, select Change dates, or switch it off.

Good to Know

  • The nursing hour is paid and never taken off worked time (Labour Act, s.57).
  • When her approved maternity leave ends, Agoo suggests switching it on.
  • Where break punches are on, she gets a Nursing break to punch at the kiosk and in Agoo Workspace.
  • She sees it. Her line manager doesn't. Only HR, Owners and Admins can change it, and each change is in the audit trail.
  • Agoo keeps only the dates, nothing about a pregnancy or a birth.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • You can't see Nursing hour. Only HR, Owners and Admins see it.
  • Her day still shows a break coming off. Check the dates cover that day.
