Turn On Selfies and Location at Clock-In

Publish the notice staff see, then ask for a selfie or keep the phone's location with each punch.

  • Plans: Starter and up

  1. Go to ConsoleAttendanceSettings and find Evidence and notices.

  2. Choose the evidence: A selfie when they clock in, or Their location when they clock in on a phone.
  3. Select Write the notice, explain what is recorded and why, and choose the Legal basis: Required by your organisation: staff acknowledge it, or Only with each person's consent.

  4. Select Publish.
  5. Set selfies to Required or Asked for, can be skipped, and choose how long the evidence is kept for. Select Save.

Good to Know

  • Evidence is off until you turn it on, and each kind needs its own published notice.
  • Staff see the notice the first time, at the kiosk or in Agoo Workspace. With consent, someone who says no clocks in without that evidence.
  • For location, choose Only whether they were at the site or The coordinates too. You can also keep the Wi-Fi network's name and address.
  • To change the wording, select Publish a new version. Staff answer the new version the next time.
  • Only Owners and Admins can publish notices or change how long evidence is kept. Opening a selfie is recorded in the audit trail.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • You can't turn on a selfie. Publish its notice first.
  • Some staff never take a selfie. Under a consent notice, they declined or withdrew their agreement. That's their choice.
  • The options aren't there. Selfies and location come with Starter and above.
