Go to ConsoleSecurityVehiclesKnown and barred and select Add a vehicle.
- Enter the Plate, and add the Make and model and Colour if you like.
- Under Known or barred, choose Known: let it in or Barred: stop it.
For a known vehicle, say Whose it is: The person (optional) from your directory, or Or in words (optional), such as "Company van".
- For a barred vehicle, give Why it's barred.
- Choose its Sites (none ticked means every site) and select Add it, or Bar this plate for a barred one.
Good to Know
- When a barred plate comes to the gate, the guard sees it in red and security is told at once.
- If someone in charge says let it in anyway, the guard records their name and role, and the audit trail keeps it.
- Under At the gate, choose A photo of each vehicle: No photo, Offer a photo or Always a photo.
- To stop a person rather than a car, use the watchlist.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A barred vehicle should be allowed again. Open it and select Unbar. The gate lets it in like any other vehicle from then on.
- A known vehicle isn't recognised. Check the plate was typed exactly, and that the gate's site is ticked.
- A vehicle is no longer yours to know. Select Remove. Its past entries stay in the log.
