- Press and hold the "Approve…?" notification, or open the Hosting tab and find the visit under Waiting for you.
- Tap Approve. When the visitor is already at reception, the button says Approve and check in.
- To turn the visit down, tap Decline and give a reason if you like. Only staff see it; the visitor is told the visit can't go ahead.
Good to Know
- With no signal, the app keeps your answer and sends it when it's back online. The visit shows Approved or Declined with a small sending sign.
- Approving a request to visit before the visitor arrives makes the visit expected and sends them their pass.
- A visit Held for security has no buttons. Your security team decides.
- A number on the Hosting tab counts what's waiting for you.
If Something Goes Wrong
- The app says someone answered first. Reception or another host already answered. The visit shows what was decided.
- There are no Approve or Decline buttons. Only the lead host decides this visit, or reception is asking you instead. Look for Will you see them?.
- The notification's buttons don't work. Your phone asks for its unlock first. If it still fails, open the app and answer from the visit.
