Go to ConsoleSettingsData & privacy.
- Under How long data is kept, select Change beside a kind of data.
- Choose a period under Keep for.
- Read how many records it would delete. If it deletes any, tick that you understand.
- Select Save, or Save and delete.
Good to Know
- Records past their period are deleted automatically, every hour, and can't be recovered. Each run shows under Deleted on schedule and in the audit trail.
- A longer period keeps what's still here. It can't bring back what's gone.
- Your plan sets the longest you can keep visitor data. Records your plan's history hides are kept until their period ends.
- HR records always need a period, because the law keeps them for a time after someone leaves. Agoo warns when you choose less than it advises.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A period you want isn't offered. It's longer than your plan allows, or shorter than the law needs for that kind of data.
- You need a copy before deleting. Take a full export first.
- There's no Change button. Owners and Admins change retention.
