Before You Start
The visitor has asked to delete their data, and you've recorded the identity check on the request.
Go to ConsoleSettingsData & privacy, choose Data requests and open the request.
- Under Erase their records, tick the visitor records that are theirs. They're matched exactly by email or phone, never by name.
- Select Erase the chosen records and confirm.
- Close the request with what you did.
Good to Know
- Erasing can't be undone.
- The audit trail keeps that an erasure happened, who did it and when, with the personal details removed. Signed documents show "The visitor (erased on request)". Counts in reports stay.
- Staff records aren't erased from here. Deactivate someone who has left, and their records follow your retention periods.
If Something Goes Wrong
- A record can't be ticked. The visitor is on site now, so erase it after they leave, or it's under a legal hold.
- Erase the chosen records is greyed out. Check who they are first, under Identity. Only Owners and Admins erase records.
- No records are found. None has their email or phone exactly. Try the other detail, or search their visits in History.
