  1. Go to ConsoleSettingsNotifications.

  2. Under Alerts to your team, choose what people Start with, then for each alert the Order to try and when to Move to the next channel.

  3. Under Messages to visitors and guests, choose the order Agoo tries for passes, approvals and booking messages.
  4. Turn on Use quiet hours if you want alerts to wait overnight, and set From and Until.
  5. Under When the wallet runs out, choose whether to send by email instead when SMS or WhatsApp can't be paid for.
  6. Select Save notification settings.

Good to Know

  • These are the starting points. People's own choices in Notifications in their account menu always win.
  • WhatsApp is only ever used for people who chose it.
  • Security holds and roll call always come through, even in quiet hours. Quiet hours follow the clock of the site the alert is about.
  • Notifications in Agoo Workspace are free and unlimited on every plan. Turn on Leave names out of the app's notifications if who visits is sensitive.
  • Scheduled report emails are on the same page, under Scheduled reports.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • The page says a channel is paused. Agoo has paused it while a provider fixes a problem. Each person gets the next channel in your order instead, and nothing is lost.
  • Messages to some people aren't arriving. See Alerts Not Reaching People.
