Let People Sign In with Google or Microsoft
Choose which Google and Microsoft accounts can sign in to your organisation, and require it if you like.

Go to ConsoleSettingsSecurity and find Sign in with Google and Microsoft.
- Turn on Google, Microsoft or both. Turn on Allow personal accounts only if Gmail and Outlook.com accounts should work too.
To allow only your own accounts, add your domains under Google Workspace domains, and under Microsoft organisations select Add the organisation I'm signed in to.
- Select Save.
To require it, first sign in with a Google or Microsoft account these rules allow, so you can't lock yourself out. Then turn on Require Google or Microsoft sign-in and select Save.
- Check how many members are ready, enter the Code from your authenticator app and select Require it.
Good to Know
- Two-step verification still applies, however people sign in.
- With sign-in required, a password or an email code alone no longer opens your organisation. Everyone is emailed when you turn it on.
- As the Owner, you can always sign in with your password and authenticator, even when Google or Microsoft is down.
- Leave both domain lists empty to allow any account the switches above allow.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Add the organisation I'm signed in to doesn't show. You're not signed in with a Microsoft work account. Sign out, sign in with Microsoft, and come back.
- Someone lost access after you required it. They signed in another way. Ask them to sign in with a Google or Microsoft account your rules allow.
