Make a Staff Card or a Site Poster

Make QR codes from a person's or site's own page, so they fill in themselves and stay up to date.

  1. For a staff card, go to ConsolePeopleDirectory, open the person and select Make a staff card.

  2. For a site, go to ConsoleSettingsSites, open the site and choose Check-in poster, Clock-in poster or Directions in its QR codes panel.

  3. In the studio, add a line for visitors or staff if it offers one, and for a check-in poster choose the gate under Where it goes.
  4. Design it, select Save code, and download it.

Each person's and site's page lists the codes about it, with their status and scans.

Good to Know

  • A staff card always shows the person's current name, job title, department, email and phone. Change them in People and the card changes at the next scan.
  • When someone leaves and is deactivated, their staff card stops showing their details.
  • A check-in poster opens self check-in on the visitor's phone when the site has it on, or asks them to see reception when it's off. The same printed poster works either way.
  • Directions needs the site's map pin, and can be plain or tracked.
  • Posters count as tracked codes. Feedback posters, review posters and Agoo Forms posters don't.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • There's no Directions option. The site has no location yet. Set it on the site's page.
  • A poster says it has ended. Its gate or site was removed. Make a new one for the current place.
  • You can't make codes from the page. Your organisation hasn't chosen you to make QR codes.
