Go to ConsoleYour accountSign-in and security and find Backup codes under Two-step verification.
- Select Make codes, or Make new codes if you have a set.
- Type the current code from your authenticator app.
- Save the ten codes with Copy or Download, somewhere safe away from your phone, then select I've saved them.
- To use one, choose Use a backup code when Agoo asks for your six-digit code, and type it.
Good to Know
- Agoo shows the codes once. It keeps only a scrambled form, so it can't show them again.
- Each code works once. Making a new set stops the old codes working.
- Using a backup code removes your authenticators and ends your other sign-ins. Set up your authenticator again straight away.
- Agoo emails you whenever codes are made or one is used.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Make codes is greyed out. Add an authenticator first.
- "You're running low on backup codes." Make a new set.
- You've lost your codes and your phone. Start account recovery with Lost your phone?.
