Before You Start
Install a free authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. A password manager that holds codes works too.
Go to ConsoleYour accountSign-in and security and find Two-step verification. If your role needs it, Agoo asks the first time you sign in.
- Select Add an authenticator, and give the phone a name if you like.
- Select I have the app: show my QR code.
In your authenticator app, add an account and scan the QR code. On the same phone, select Setting up on this phone? Add to my authenticator app instead.
- Type the six-digit code the app shows and select Verify and continue.
From now on Agoo asks for the current code each time you sign in, in the Console and in Agoo Workspace.
Good to Know
- Owners and Admins must use two-step verification. Your organisation can ask everyone to.
- Add a spare with Add another authenticator, on another phone or in a password manager.
- Make backup codes too, in case your phone is lost.
- A passkey counts as two-step verification by itself.
If Something Goes Wrong
- The code isn't accepted. Use the newest code, and set your phone's date and time to automatic.
- The QR code won't scan. Select Copy the setup key and type it into the app as a time-based key.
- The app holds several codes. Use the one named Agoo.
