Check Visitors In and Out at the Gate

   Sign in at the gate, then tap Scan a pass and point the camera at the visitor's QR code, on their phone or printed. A valid pass checks them in at once.

   For someone without a pass, tap Quick check-in and fill in their phone number, name, visitor type and who they're here to see.

   To check in a guest by name, tap Expected today and find them.

   When a visitor leaves, tap Check out, find them by name and confirm.

Good to Know

• The device checks passes itself from their signed code, so scanning works offline.
• A pass that's expired, cancelled, used, outside its hours or for another gate is refused clearly, with the reason.
• In guard mode the device shows full names, because it's in staff hands.
• On a phone, scanning uses the back camera unless an admin chose another. Switch camera changes it on the spot.

If Something Goes Wrong

• The pass is refused and you know the visitor should come in. Send them to reception, who can check the visit and let them in from the Console.
• The camera won't focus on the code. Ask the visitor to turn up their screen brightness, or find them under Expected today.
• A check-in shows it couldn't be saved. Try again. If the device is offline, it saves and sends it when the connection is back.
