Go to ConsoleSettingsSites and open the site.
- Under Map pin, click the map where visitors come in, or select Use my location if you're standing at the entrance.
To let staff clock in from their phone here, turn on Use a clock-in area around the pin and drag Radius to cover the building and car park.
- Select Save location.
Good to Know
- The pin goes on every pass, so put it on the entrance visitors should use, not the middle of the building.
- Staff can clock in from their phone only inside the circle. Cover the building and car park, not the street.
- Phone clock-in with an area is included from the Starter plan.
- To change the site's name or time zone, edit Details on the same page and select Save details.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Use my location puts the pin in the wrong place. Your computer's location may be rough. Click the map at the entrance instead.
- The clock-in area switch is greyed out. Drop a pin first, or check your plan includes phone clock-in.
- Staff inside the building can't clock in. Make the radius a little larger, then select Save location again.
