Set Your Pay Codes
Name each kind of time the way your payroll knows it, with its multiplier, before you export payroll.

Go to ConsoleAttendancePayroll and open Pay codes.
Under What Agoo counts, check each kind of time: change its Pay code and Multiplier, or leave the multiplier blank if payroll sets the rate.
- Tick Leave out for any kind of time payroll shouldn't receive.
- Under Leave types, give every leave type its pay code and select Save code.
- Select Save, or Looks right if Agoo's codes already suit you.
Good to Know
- Agoo starts from its own codes, such as
REGfor regular hours andOTfor overtime. Back to Agoo's default restores one. - The Labour Act sets no overtime rate. Your multipliers are where you record yours.
- Each payroll file keeps the codes it was made with, so a later change never alters a file already made.
- Changes are recorded in the audit trail.
If Something Goes Wrong
- "Pay codes that clash". One code is used for two kinds of time paid differently. Give each its own code.
- The file won't make: "Leave types with no pay code". Add a code to each leave type listed.
- Payroll shows a lock. Payroll export comes with Pro and Enterprise. On other plans, use Export daily hours.
