What Official Register Records Mean
Some Agoo Reviews pages say what an official register showed about a business. Here's how to read one, and why a page without one says nothing either way.

- Open a business's page on agoo.reviews and find Official Registers, if it has them.
- Read which register it names, the entry, what the register says and the date Agoo Reviews checked.
- Select See the Register to look for yourself on the register's own site.
Good to Know
- It's a statement about a record, not an endorsement. The regulator has no connection with Agoo Reviews, and doesn't vouch for the business or for us.
- A page without one says nothing either way. Not every honest business is on a register, some kinds of business have none, and Agoo Reviews can't look everywhere.
- A person checks every one. Someone at Agoo Reviews looks the business up on the register itself and compares it. Nothing shows by itself.
- It comes off by itself. Each one has a date to be looked at again, and if that passes, or the entry's own date does, it's gone.
- It can't be bought, and it never changes a score, an order or a search.
- If a register says something like "Revoked", a senior moderator decides whether the page says so. It then states only those words, the date and a link.
- Before a big decision, check the register itself: only it says what's true today.
- The Agoo Reviews app shows the same section, in the same words, on a business's page. See the Register opens the register's own site.
If Something Goes Wrong
- The register says something different. Registers change. Trust the register, and report the page so someone looks again.
- The link doesn't open. Government sites are sometimes down. Try later, or contact the regulator.
- It's your business and it's wrong. Ask for a correction.
