- Open the account menu and select Your reviews.
- Find the review and read its status and the note under it.
- If it says Being checked, wait: a person at Agoo reads it, usually within 2 working days, and you're emailed when they decide.
- If it says Waiting for you, select Change, take out what the note asks, and select Save changes.
- If it says Removed, select Read the guideline to see the reason.
Good to Know
- A review is held or removed only for the reasons in the guidelines, the same whatever the stars: personal details, a crime pinned on a person, threats, advertising, or a review that isn't your own experience.
- Phone numbers, email addresses and links have to come out before a review can be sent.
- Every review of a school, a place of worship or an estate is read by a person before it appears. At a clinic, a review that seems to mention health details waits for you to confirm they're your own.
- A person never changes your words. No business can hold, hide or speed up a review.
If Something Goes Wrong
- You think a removal was wrong. Reply to our email about it within 30 days and say why. A different moderator looks again.
- Writing is paused on your account. See Appeal a decision on your account.
- New reviews of a place are paused. When far more reviews than usual arrive at once, a page pauses new reviews for a short while, with a note on the page. Try again later.
