Fix Notifications That Don't Arrive in Agoo Workspace

What to check when visitor, approval or shift alerts don't reach your phone.

  1. Open Account › Notifications in the app. If it says Notifications are off, tap Open Settings and allow them for Agoo.
  2. Check The app is turned on for the alerts you want, under How each alert reaches you.
  3. Tap Send a test notification.
  4. If the test doesn't arrive, check Phones with your notifications lists this phone. Sign out of the app and sign in again to add it.
  5. Check Focus or Do Not Disturb, and your quiet hours.

Good to Know

  • Quiet hours hold alerts, except roll calls, security holds and shift reminders.
  • If a notification doesn't reach your phone in time, Agoo sends it your next way: WhatsApp, SMS or email.
  • On Android, Agoo's notifications are listed by kind in your phone's settings. A kind you silence there stays silent. To let roll calls sound in Do Not Disturb, turn on Override Do Not Disturb for Emergencies.
  • If your organisation leaves names out, notifications say "Your visitor is here" until you open the app.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • Alerts come by SMS instead. The app couldn't reach your phone in time, or Agoo's notifications are turned off in your phone's settings.
  • You belong to several organisations. A notification can be about one that isn't on your phone; tap it to switch.
