Add Closed Days and Public Holidays

Stop anyone booking on your organisation's closed days, and choose whether Ghana's public holidays count.

  1. Go to ConsoleBookingsAvailability and find Closed days.

  2. Add the Date and say What it is, such as "End-of-year shutdown".
  3. Leave Observe public holidays on, unless your organisation works on public holidays.
  4. Select Save closed days.

Nobody can be booked on a closed day, whoever the host is.

Good to Know

  • Ghana's public holidays are built in and kept up to date each year, so you don't add them yourself.
  • Closed days belong to the whole organisation. A day off for one person is a date override in their own hours.
  • Owners, Admins and Site admins add closed days. Only the Owner and Admins can switch public holidays off.
  • Bookings already made on a day you close stay as they are. Move or cancel them in ConsoleBookings.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • "That date is already a closed day." It's in the list already. Change its name instead of adding it again.
  • You can't change Observe public holidays. It's an organisation setting. Ask an Owner or Admin.
  • Someone needs to work on a public holiday. Leave the switch on and give them a date override with their hours for that day.
