When a visitor needs your approval, you're told in the Agoo Workspace app first, then on the channels you chose in your notifications.
- Open the alert. In a text or email, tap the link: it opens a page with the visitor's name, company, and when and where.
- Select Approve, or I'll see them if they're already at reception.
- To say no, select Decline and add a reason if you like. Only staff see it.
In the Console, open the visit from ConsoleVisitors and select Approve (Approve and check in when they've arrived) or Decline.
Good to Know
- Approving a visitor who's at reception checks them in. Approving a request before they arrive makes the visit expected and sends their pass.
- If they're already here, you can also choose Ask them to wait, so reception tells them to take a seat.
- Each approval link is yours alone, works once and stops working after 24 hours or when someone answers another way.
- When nobody answers in time, the visit is flagged Host hasn't answered for reception, who can approve for you. Their name is recorded.
- A watchlist match always goes to security, never to the host.
If Something Goes Wrong
- "This link has expired." Answer in the Console or the Workspace app, or tell reception.
- "Someone else answered first." The visit has been dealt with. There's nothing more to do.
- You never get the alert. Check your channels in Your accountNotifications, and that the Workspace app is allowed to send notifications.
