Good to Know
- A Ghana Card is never photographed. Agoo records its number, read on the device or typed, and keeps no image (L.I. 2523).
- Scan reads a Ghana Card's or passport's number with the camera; other IDs are photographed. Visitors can type it instead, and a kiosk in a browser asks them to.
- Agoo records the ID's type and number. It doesn't check who the visitor is.
- Screens and exports show only the ID's type and last four characters. Owners, Admins and Security leads can reveal the full number on the visit, with a reason that's recorded.
- ID photos are deleted on your schedule, set in ConsoleSettingsData & privacy.
If Something Goes Wrong
- The kiosk asks visitors to type the number. The camera couldn't read it, or the kiosk runs in a browser. Typing works the same.
- You don't want any camera used for IDs. Choose Typed. You still keep the type and last four of every ID.
