Before You Start
Add the shifts you run as shift templates.
Go to ConsoleAttendanceRosters and choose the site.
- On Planner, choose a Week, a Fortnight or four weeks, and move through time with the arrows.
Drag a template from Drag in: onto a person's day. Drag a shift to move it to another day or person, or drag its edges to change its times.
- Select a shift to change its times or break, add a note for the person, or remove it.
- When it's ready, select Publish.
Every change saves as a draft as you go. Only the people who plan the roster see drafts until you publish.
Good to Know
- Hold Alt (Option on a Mac) while you drag to copy a shift, or tick copying above the roster.
- Find someone narrows a long list by name or employee number.
- Shifts carry warnings, such as On leave or the Labour Act's rest rules. Warnings never stop you, except two shifts at once.
- Undo and Redo take back your last changes. Discard changes takes the roster back to what staff can see.
- On a phone, the roster becomes a list for one day at a time.
If Something Goes Wrong
- "Rosters come with Growth, Pro and Enterprise". Your plan doesn't include rosters. Upgrade in ConsoleSettingsBilling.
- You can open the roster but not change it. Your role can't manage shifts, corrections and leave at that site.
- Someone isn't on the roster. They don't work at this site or aren't on attendance. Check their page in People.
