Go to ConsoleVisitorsExpected.
- Search for the guest by name, phone number or company, and open their visit.
- If the site has more than one gate, choose where they Came in at.
- Select Check in.
- If the visitor type has required questions still empty, answer them with the guest, then select Save and check in.
The watchlist is checked and the site's check-in rules apply: the host is told the guest is here, or asked to approve first.
Good to Know
- If the guest shows a pass on their phone, scan it instead of searching. Their visit opens straight away.
- Expected shows today. Choose another day to look ahead.
- Documents the guest hasn't signed yet show on the visit, under Documents.
- The visit's Timeline records who checked the guest in, when and at which gate.
If Something Goes Wrong
- You're told the pass doesn't admit them now. It's before its window, after it, outside its hours, at the wrong gate or already used. Choose Let them in anyway if that's right; the override is recorded with your name. See Set Pass Rules for a Visit.
- The guest isn't on the list. Check another day, or search History in case the visit was cancelled. If there's no visit, check them in as a walk-in.
- The visit is on hold for a security review. Only a Security lead or an admin can decide. Ask the guest to take a seat.
