Before You Start
Your Apple Account needs two-factor authentication turned on.
Sign in at account.apple.com, go to Sign-In and Security, then App-Specific Passwords, and make a new one named Agoo. Copy it: Apple shows it once.
- In the Console, open the menu under your name and select Your calendars.
- Under Connect a calendar, choose iCloud Calendar.
- Enter your Apple Account email and paste the App-specific password, then select Connect iCloud.
- Select Choose calendars on the new card to check which calendars count for busy times and where your bookings go.
Good to Know
- An app-specific password is for Agoo alone. You can revoke it at Apple without changing your Apple Account password.
- Agoo keeps the password locked away and never shows it again. Disconnecting deletes it at once.
- iCloud doesn't tell Agoo about changes, so Agoo checks your calendar regularly instead of within moments.
- iCloud makes no video links. Connect Google, Microsoft or Zoom too if you want links made for video bookings.
If Something Goes Wrong
- iCloud didn't accept the email and password. Use your Apple Account's email and a newly made app-specific password, not your Apple Account password.
- "That isn't an app-specific password". It's four groups of four letters, like abcd-efgh-ijkl-mnop. Make a new one at Apple.
- The card says Reconnect. You revoked the password, or Apple asked you to make new ones. Make a new app-specific password and paste it in.
