Edit Someone's HR Record

Keep a person's personal details, contract, pensions and contacts up to date in their HR record.

  • Plans: Every plan
  • Updated 27 October 2026
  • 1 min read
  1. Go to ConsolePeopleDirectory, open the person and choose the HR record tab.

  2. Find the part you want to change: Personal, Employment, Pensions, Statutory numbers, Pay accounts or Contacts.
  3. Select its edit button, change the details and save.

Good to Know

  • Changes to the job itself (title, grade, department, position, manager, sites, contract and hours) go through Change job, so each is kept in their history with its date. See Change Someone's Job.
  • Line managers don't see personal details, contacts, numbers or pay accounts.
  • Beneficiaries' shares must add up to 100%.
  • Marital status only shows when you record it, in ConsoleSettingsPeople and HR.
  • Every change is recorded in the audit trail, naming the fields but never a number.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • There's no HR record tab. Your role doesn't include HR records. HR, Owners and Admins keep them.
  • You can't edit someone at another site. HR limited to some sites keeps the records of people at those sites only.
  • The GhanaPost GPS address is refused. Type it in the form on the card, such as GA-123-4567.
