Post an Open Shift
Put up a shift with nobody on it, for staff who can work it to ask for in Agoo Workspace.

Go to ConsoleAttendanceRosters and choose the site.
- Drag a template into the Open shifts row at the top of the planner. Or select someone's shift and choose Make it an open shift.
- Select Publish. Everyone who can take it is told in Agoo Workspace.
- Decide the requests in Open shifts and swaps: approve one and the shift is theirs, and the others are told it's gone.
Good to Know
- Only people on attendance at the site who are free at that time, and not on leave, can take it.
- If you choose The first to ask gets it, there's nothing to decide: the first person to ask gets the shift.
- You can still give the shift to someone yourself by putting them on it in the planner and publishing.
- Open shift notices go only to Agoo Workspace, never by email or text.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Nobody can see the open shift. It isn't published yet, or staff may not ask for open shifts. Check the swap and open shift settings.
- "Nobody asked yet". Nobody free at that time has asked. Give it out yourself in the planner.
