Go to ConsoleSettingsData & privacy and choose Data requests.
- Select Record a request.
- Choose what They ask to do and how It came: by email, by letter, by phone or at the front desk.
- Add Their name, whether They are a visitor, staff or someone else, and Their email or Their phone if you have them.
- Write What they asked and, if it came on another day, the date under It came on.
- Select Record it.
Good to Know
- The due date counts from the day it came.
- Tick Email them the reference and the date we'll answer by to let them know it's in hand.
- People can also ask online from Your data in the footer of your visitor pages. Where people ask shows that page's link: select Copy link and put it in your privacy notice.
- You and your Admins are emailed when a request arrives online.
If Something Goes Wrong
- There's no Record a request button. Owners and Admins record requests.
- You don't know who they are yet. Record it anyway, then check who they are before you share or change anything.
