Review a Watchlist Match

Decide whether a visitor held by a watchlist match may come in, quietly and on the record.

When a check-in matches the watchlist, security gets a silent alert with a link. The visitor sees a neutral message, and the host isn't told.

  1. Open the alert's link, or go to ConsoleSecurityWatchlist and open the visit under Waiting for review.

  2. Read Watchlist match: decide before anyone acts, and confirm with a photo, phone or ID number whether it's the same person.
  3. Select Let them in and write Why they may come in, or select Refuse entry.

Letting them in carries the visit on as normal, so the host is asked or told. Refusing declines the visit.

Good to Know

  • Reception sees only that the check-in is On hold for a security review, and can't approve or cancel it.
  • Alerts never say which entry matched or why.
  • A visitor let in while a device was offline is shown as Let in offline, on site. Refusing then checks them out.
  • Security can decide on their phone too, from the Desk in the Agoo Workspace app.
  • Every decision is in the audit trail with who made it.

If Something Goes Wrong

  • You can see the match but not act on it. Only a Security lead or an admin decides.
  • It's clearly the wrong person. Choose Let them in with a reason such as "Different person, checked phone number". Common names do cause false matches.
