Go to ConsoleSettingsSites and open the site.
Under QR codes, make a Check-in poster for the entrance or a gate, then print it and put it up. Posters you already printed keep working.
- Under Check-in rules, turn on Self check-in from posters.
- Select Save check-in rules.
- Scan the poster with your own phone and check in, with a colleague as your host, to try it.
Good to Know
- Each self check-in counts towards your plan's visitors a month, like any walk-in.
- The watchlist is checked and the site's walk-in rule applies, as at a kiosk.
- Visitors find hosts by typing a name. They never see a list of your staff.
- Self check-ins appear on On site at once, marked as checked in from a poster.
- Photos, files and ID documents aren't asked on a phone; reception takes them if the type needs them.
If Something Goes Wrong
- Scanning the poster asks the visitor to see reception. Self check-in is off for the site, or the poster's tracked code is paused.
- A visitor can't finish on their phone. Check them in at the desk with Check in walk-in.
