This guide explains how it all fits together. For one job at a time, the short articles in this topic have the exact steps.
Share a published form by its link, an agoo.click short link, a QR code, WhatsApp from your own phone, or on your website, and see which link brings responses.
Once a form is published, its Share tab has every way to send it.
| Way | What you get |
|---|---|
| The form's link | https://agooforms.com/f/…, to copy or open |
| Short link | agoo.click/…, short enough for a text message, with how many opens and responses came through it |
| Share on WhatsApp | Opens WhatsApp on your own phone or computer with the link ready to send. Agoo sends nothing for you |
| Share… | Your phone's share sheet |
| QR code | For posters and notice boards, in Agoo's Signature style, as PNG or SVG. It holds the short link, so scans count as opens |
| On your website | Two lines of code. The form grows to fit, follows each visitor's light or dark setting, and never sends on which page it's on |
| A link for each place | Forms Plus and Team: a short link per poster, group or newsletter, each counting its own opens and responses |
The QR code carries Agoo's mark on Forms Free, your workspace's logo or initials from Forms Plus, and your colour on Forms Team when it's dark enough to scan well.
In your organisation's workspace, the Console's Share tab also makes the form's tracked poster: one of your organisation's QR codes, designed and counted in QR codes, that never counts against your tracked codes. See Agoo Forms in the Console.
Sharing a Form with People
On Forms Team, a form can also be shared inside its workspace. Owners and Admins see every form; a Builder sees the forms they made, and an Analyst sees none, until a form is shared with them. The form's maker, an Owner or an Admin opens Share with people from the form's menu, or from People in the workspace on its Share tab.
| Shared to | Who | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Build | A Builder | Edit and publish the form, and read its responses |
| Read responses | A Builder or an Analyst | Read the form's responses and its summary |
Three more things are given one by one, to each person: Export the responses, open Sensitive answers kept sealed (each opening is recorded), and download the Files people send. Changes apply at once, and everyone looking at the form sees them straight away. See Share a Form with People in Your Workspace.
When a Form Can't Take Responses
A form says so before anyone starts typing: when it's closed or in the trash, when the workspace has used the month's responses, when Agoo has paused it, or while a person on Agoo's safety team checks it or after it's taken down (see Safety, holds and appeals). People already answering when the month's limit is reached can still send. See Levels and limits.
What Respondents See
Every form shows who receives the answers, "Agoo Forms will never ask for your password or PIN", Report this form and Your data, and "Made with Agoo Forms" on Forms Free. A quiet robot check runs in the background; most people never see it. Reporting a form and your data says what respondents can do with those two links.
